CW has been a leader in workplace safety in southern California. CW was an active participate in the drafting of the recently enacted Cal/OSHA fall protection regulation. (http://www.dir.ca.gov/Title8/1716_2..html)
CW also was an active part of the group that provided assistance to Cal/OSHA in designing its training for its own employees regarding the implementation of this regulation.
Alvaro Avelar, who has hands-on experience in all forms of framing, heads our safety department. Alvaro is also in charge of our new hire training, ensuring that new hires fit safely into the CW work environment. Of course, all of our safety professionals are bilingual.
CW Construction designed and manufactured its own bracket scaffold before law required fall protection. It is easy to install and is included at no additional cost in each of our bids. Builders can be assured that each CW job will be in compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations.
